A trip to Kenya – the legendary safari land

10 Days/ 9 Nights Kenya Safari

Day 1: Pick up from the hotel/ airport and drive to the world’s famous Masai Mara Game Reserve through The Great African Rift Valley and Narok, Masai Mara Town. The reserve is known by many as the jewel of Kenya’s park and is always on every tourist’s “Must See List”. Full of life with various types of animals and birds, Masai Mara crown’s the climax of every safari in Kenya. Its rolling grasslands and acacia savannah have time and again been captured on film with the movie “Out of Africa” being the most famous.  Masai Mara is home to the “Big Five” (Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard and Rhino) and over 450 bird species. Even when the migration is quiet, the Mara offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa; great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands of elands, buffaloes, impalas and Grant’s gazelles. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Mara River, while cheetahs prowl the plains. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well spread rainfall year-round. 

Arrive at  for lunch. Have a brief rest then head out with your driver for an afternoon game drive and start spotting nature at its best. Continue with the exploration of wildlife and as the sun starts to edge dip into the African horizon it will be the perfect opportunity for you to capture the beautiful Mara landscape on film. Day 2: Morning breakfast at the lodge after which you will head out with your picnic lunch boxes and spend the day in the reserve as you explore and experience nature in its raw form; the landscape is breathtaking with its network of roads specially constructed for game viewing. Break for lunch at a picnic site then continue spotting wild animals until early evening when you return to the camp for freshening up and dinner. All meals and overnight at th.

Day 3: Rise up early the morning and drive out by 6.30 AM and have a game drive. During the Morning Game drive, chances are that you can spot as many animals since the sun is not yet out and too hot so the animals will not be hiding in the bushes and they are still active. Return to the lodge for full breakfast and rest. In the late afternoon proceed with your game drive till sunset. Meals and overnight at.

Day 4: After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with an en-route game drive arriving for lunch. The Park is in the Great Rift Valley and regarded by avid birders’ as the greatest World ornithological spectacle on the Earth.

The game in this park is plentiful and magnificent. View the pink lake notable bird life and other wild animals. The park is currently a Rhino sanctuary. The bird life here is world renown some of which include White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the white Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe. Enjoy an afternoon game drive then head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: After breakfast depart for Lake Naivasha arriving  for lunch. In the afternoon proceed to crescent Island Game Sanctuary for boat ride, bird watching and a walking safari among the wildlife. The island is one of the most beautiful parks in Kenya and is Naivasha’s best kept secret. The shores host abundant birdlife including pelicans, cormorants and fish-eagles with their haunting cry. Later in the evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: After breakfast depart for Amboseli National Park. The Park is at an altitude of about 1200m – 1400m and beautifully situated beneath the foot of Africa’s highest mountain (5895m), the majestic snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli has large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes, lions, and a variety of other animals and birds all of which are attracted to this park due to its permanent supply of water that filters through the volcanic rock from Mt. Kilimanjaro’s melting snow. The park is also home to the Masai people, those tall, brave, and proud nomads who live in close harmony with the environment and the wildlife that surrounds them.

Arrive for lunch  then head out for an afternoon game drive and start spotting animals till in the evening where you will proceed to.

Day 7: Rise early for a good view of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. After breakfast, we head out with your packed lunch for a full day game drive and spend the day in the reserve spotting wild animals. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. Optional visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast. Return to the lodge after the afternoon game drive for freshening up and dinner.  All meals and overnight at 

Day 8: Early morning game drive before breakfast then depart for Tsavo East National Park arriving for lunch at . The Park  contains a diversity of habitats, wildlife and a mountainous scenic landscape. The park is a vast expanse of savanna stretching from Mtito Andei, along the Mombasa-Nairobi road and south to the Tanzanian border. Major wildlife attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

In the afternoon head out with your driver for a game drive as it is a perfect place to connect with nature. Dinner and overnight at the at 

Day 9: Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast then depart for Tsavo West National Park arriving at Ngulia Safari Lodge for lunch. The park is famously known for its large of over 900 free ranging elephants and offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

Other attractions within the park include the spectacle Mzima Springs, a vibrant volcanic arena ( molten lava) that form Shetani lava, Ngulia Sanctuary and Lake Jipe that lies astride Kenya and Tanzania border. 

Have an exciting afternoon game drive then proceed to e for rest, dinner and overnight. 

Day 10: Rise early for a morning game drive followed by breakfast then leave for Nairobi where your safari ends at the place of preference 

Friday and Saturday in Nairobi. Friday we will visit an orphanage for elephants and the Giraffes Center, Shabbat at the Chabad House.

After the Shabbat meal and according to your wishes, you can take a walk in the city.

Shabbat in Nairobi is a special experience. Israeli travelers and local businessmen gather at the Chabad House, sing together “Lecha Dodi” and “Eshet Chayil” and sit down for a rich and luxurious Shabbat meal full of singing and joy.

On Motzei Shabbat (Saturday night): Havdalah and a “Melave Malka” dinner.
